We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead our global recruitment efforts, with a focus on international hiring. This individual will manage the full-cycle recruiting process across multiple countries and regions, with particular attention to compliance and best practices for international markets. They will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that attract top talent globally and will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure that recruiting efforts align with Ookla’s goals and culture. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in international talent acquisition, team leadership, and Employer of Record (EOR) management.
Expectations for Success
- Manage the Talent Acquisition team across different regions, providing guidance, coaching, and development to enhance team performance and meet recruitment targets.
- Develop and implement global recruiting strategies to attract and hire top talent for a wide range of roles across Ookla.
- Oversee and manage relationships with Employer of Record (EOR) partners, ensuring compliance with local employment laws and managing recruitment in global markets.
- Drive the employer branding strategy to position Ookla as an employer of choice.
- Innovate sourcing strategies by leveraging social media, professional networks, job boards, and employee referral programs to attract high-quality candidates globally.
- Monitor, track, and analyze recruitment metrics and performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Ensure recruitment processes and practices are in compliance with international employment regulations and company policies.
- Stay updated on global talent acquisition trends and best practices to enhance recruitment strategies
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in talent acquisition, including at least 2 years in a leadership role managing recruitment teams.
- Proven experience with international recruiting and managing Employer of Record (EOR) processes.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations across multiple countries, especially in Europe and regions where Ookla operates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven leadership ability, with a strong focus on team development and performance management.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing global recruitment strategies that align with business goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to inform decision-making.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software
